The role of a Jewelry Consultant at Brilliant Earth in Scottsdale, AZ, is pivotal in delivering an exceptional customer experience. The consultant is responsible for guiding customers through the sales journey using various engaging sales platforms such as in-person showroom visits, virtual appointments, phone calls, and live chat. In this full-time, in-person position located at the Scottsdale showroom, consultants will be expected to work a schedule that includes weekend days. The compensation for this role ranges between $19 and $21 per hour, subject to discretional adjustment by the company. This role emphasizes exceeding sales targets through the use of expert sales strategies and deep product knowledge. Consultants will have the opportunity to engage with a high volume of customers, managing incoming sales leads via email, live chat, and phone, ensuring each interaction aligns with Brilliant Earth’s brand of luxury and sustainability.
This position encourages a customer-first approach where the consultant will proactively greet and assist clients throughout the purchasing process, ensuring an attentive and memorable interaction. In addition to sales, the consultant will handle post-sale appointments, including assisting with pickups, exchanges, resizing, and other custom inquiries. The role also requires the consultant to maintain a safe, welcoming showroom environment, enforce company policies, and safeguard product security.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work full-time including weekend days
- Strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Utilize sales strategies and deep product knowledge to guide customers through multiple purchasing decisions via appointments and walk-in consultations creating memorable and personalized experiences for each customer
- Manage a high volume of incoming sales leads via email live chat and phones to attain individual revenue targets providing a luxury customer experience reflective of our high-quality product
- Proactively greet check-in and assist customers in the purchasing process creating a memorable one-on-one customer experience
- Conduct post-sale appointments to assist and educate customers returning for pick-ups exchanges re-sizing and other inquiries
- Call customers to confirm showroom appointments and answer any pre-appointment questions
- Review customer feedback surveys and online reviews working with your leaders to continuously improve the customer experience and your sales performance
- Skillfully enforce policies within the waiting room to ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all guests and ensure product security
- Open and/or close the showroom and waiting area
- Use our ERP system to manage your tasks and communicate cross-functionally
- Act as a brand advocate sharing our mission of creating a more sustainable transparent and compassionate jewelry industry
