Our commitment to authentic and heartfelt service has earned Four Seasons a reputation for luxury that truly connects with people on a profound level.
At the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, our guests are invited to embark on a unique journey above the clouds in Philadelphia's first Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Hotel. The property features breathtaking amenities such as a 57th-floor infinity-edge pool overlooking the city, a Five-Star Spa offering tranquil healing crystal treatments, and extraordinary culinary experiences led by some of the world’s finest chefs. Guests enjoy exquisite dining created by Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten alongside the innovative flavors of local James Beard Award-winning Chef Greg Vernick. The hotel team curates bespoke experiences infused with the spirit of Brotherly Love, making each stay unforgettable.
The Executive Restaurant Chef role for Jean-Georges Philadelphia is an exceptional leadership opportunity within this prestigious setting. This senior position requires overseeing the entire kitchen operation and managing a large culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation that reflect both the Jean-Georges culinary vision and Four Seasons’ world-class standards. The Executive Restaurant Chef is responsible for establishing efficient kitchen systems, managing labor and cost strategies, and ensuring flawless execution of all culinary tasks.
This role works in close partnership with the Jean-Georges Management team and reports directly to the Executive Chef of Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia. The Executive Restaurant Chef takes an active role in menu development, culinary control, and the delivery of extraordinary fine dining experiences that exceed guest expectations. A passion for using local, organic, and sustainable ingredients is integral to this position, as is the ability to maintain a deep understanding of front-of-house operations to ensure seamless service collaboration.
Candidates who thrive in this role demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to motivate and develop culinary talent at all levels. The position demands proficiency in administrative and operational technology tools, strategic problem-solving, and a commitment to ongoing learning and teaching within the kitchen. This role also involves attending monthly business reviews to provide insights on people management, profitability, and product excellence. The Executive Restaurant Chef plays a pivotal role in shaping the culinary identity of this acclaimed dining establishment within the luxury hospitality sector.
The Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia offers a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package, along with excellent training and development opportunities. Employees benefit from discounts at Four Seasons properties worldwide, complimentary dry cleaning for uniforms, and employee meals. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, in a fast-paced, luxury environment. As a managerial-level role, overtime compensation is not provided, but the expectation is a professional dedication to successfully achieving all job objectives.
Four Seasons is dedicated to diversity and inclusion, offering visa sponsorship for qualified managerial candidates, and encourages applications from minorities, women, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. Joining Four Seasons means becoming part of an award-winning team in the world’s leading luxury hotel company, where your culinary leadership will contribute to unforgettable guest experiences and your own personal and professional growth.
