As a Janitor in the Environmental Services department at Timber Ridge at Talus, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the community. This position operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 3 pm to 11:30 pm, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23.50 to $24, depending on experience. The role is vital to ensuring that residents, staff, and visitors experience a clean, welcoming, and hazard-free environment. You will be responsible for major floor care projects including maintaining floors and carpets, trash disposal, and completing housekeeping duties as needed. This position demands physical stamina as it requires standing and walking for long periods (up to 8 hours per day), repetitive bending, reaching, stretching, and the ability to lift and carry weights up to 30 pounds independently. You will also operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums and wheeled carts on both tiled and carpeted surfaces.
