This role is for the Janitorial/Cleaning & Maintenance Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the Buc-ee's Goodyear facility. The primary responsibility is to lead and direct the maintenance and cleaning teams to uphold Buc-ee's standards of cleanliness and equipment reliability. This position requires an individual who is both people-oriented and task-focused, with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively. The manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day janitorial and maintenance functions, ensuring that all store areas and grounds are maintained to the highest standards. The role involves planning, directing, and controlling maintenance efforts, conducting training sessions for employees, and collaborating with store management and vendors for facility repairs and maintenance. Safety and security are also a priority, and the manager will be tasked with observing and enforcing safety protocols while ensuring proper use of all cleaning and maintenance equipment. This position demands flexibility with work hours that may include opening or closing shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet operational needs. Ideal candidates should have previous supervisory and maintenance experience, physical resilience to stand and walk for long periods on hard surfaces, and the ability to perform various physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and climbing.
