The associate will work from May 1st to September 8th and be compensated at the rate of $18.00 per hour. As a seasonal hire, the associate will be responsible for performing cleaning tasks and light maintenance duties to ensure that the store environment remains inviting, safe, and fully operational. Working closely with the Cleaning & Maintenance Manager, this role requires individuals who are people-oriented, self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working safely in a fast-paced setting. The importance of maintaining a clean, friendly store atmosphere that is well-stocked is paramount in this position. The associate will manually clean various areas and operate light commercial motorized cleaning equipment, adhering strictly to the established store cleaning matrix. Responsibilities include light maintenance of store equipment, observing safety and security protocols, and reporting any unsafe conditions promptly to the General Manager. The associate must be able to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to work varied schedules that might include mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. They need to be physically capable of enduring long periods of standing and walking, handling repetitive motions, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. This demanding role requires high energy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently at a rapid pace for extended shifts of up to 10 hours or more. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to be available mornings, evenings and overnight
Ability to work weekdays, weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours on hard and uneven surfaces
Repetitive motion with hands, wrists, elbows and shoulders
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
Good vision and depth perception is required
Ability to bend, carry, climb, push, pull, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to 50 pounds
Climb ladders and work in elevated places
Use of chemicals for cleaning and maintenance of facility is required
Ability to work with little supervision at a rapid work pace for extended shifts of 10 hours or more
Periodic exposure to all outdoor conditions at all times of day and year

Job Duties

Manually clean and use light commercial motorized cleaning equipment
Execute cleaning in accordance with store cleaning matrix
Perform light maintenance to all elements of store equipment
