The role available is a janitorial and cleaning position that requires weekend and evening shifts, specifically on Saturdays and Sundays between 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM, and evening shifts from 4:00 PM to 9:30 or 10:30 PM, depending on the scheduled shift. This part-time or shift-based position is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of mall premises. Responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning walls and windows, along with maintaining washroom hygiene through hourly checks and ensuring supplies are well-stocked. The role also requires garbage removal, litter clean-up on mall walkways, and the use of appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment following professional standards and safety regulations.

Moreover, it involves handling hazardous materials and blood-borne pathogens safely, complying with all relevant federal and state regulations to protect the health of both staff and visitors. In addition to these cleaning duties, janitorial staff must ensure that the premises are properly prepared for mall opening and thoroughly cleaned at closing time. They also help maintain outdoor areas by keeping sidewalks free of garbage, as well as performing leaf blowing and power washing duties to uphold the mall's overall appearance.
