Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
- Ability to walk in and around facilities frequently during shifts
- Ability to understand and follow detailed written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and chemical handling procedures in English
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must download and use KBS mobile timekeeping app on personal device
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is beneficial
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying daily tasks
- Basic problem-solving and leadership capabilities
Job Duties
- Provide excellent cleaning services at assigned sites
- Interact professionally with customers and prioritize work according to daily needs
- Maintain customer relations and fulfill customer requests
- Execute daily janitorial duties including cleaning, waste removal, and restocking supplies
- Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals safely
- Work independently or as part of a crew in high traffic and high volume environments
- Report issues and provide solutions to improve service quality
