With a rich history spanning several decades, OSI Industries has established itself as a reliable and innovative company dedicated to sustainable practices and the well-being of its employees. As a unionized workplace, OSI offers a structured environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued. Employees benefit from comprehensive training and opportunities for career growth within a supportive corporate culture that prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion. The company emphasizes adherence to rigorous safety and quality standards to maintain its reputation in the food manufacturing sector.

The role of a Housekeeper within OSI Industries is an individual contributor position focused on maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the manufacturing facility. This role plays a vital part in supporting production by ensuring that kitchens, labs, bathrooms, locker rooms, break rooms, entryways, hallways, laundry and frock rooms, offices, and conference rooms are cleaned and stocked according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The Housekeeper operates various housekeeping equipment such as commercial washers, dryers, and specialized cleaning systems. Additionally, responsibilities include dispensing and stocking production and housekeeping supplies, ensuring that visitors and temporary employees adhere to proper attire guidelines for entering production areas, and following all company policies related to safety, quality (GMP), and housekeeping.

The work environment is primarily within a manufacturing setting, requiring the individual to adapt to temperature variations and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary. Physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform tasks that require close vision and manual dexterity. Safety is paramount, and the employee is expected to understand and practice proper safety procedures through continuous education and training. This full-time, unionized role offers a starting hourly wage of $19.50, with eligibility for overtime, additional premiums for perfect attendance and shift differentials, as well as union-provided benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
