Job Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write the English language
  • Have your own transportation to and from the job site
  • Be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, push, kneel, twist, and reach constantly
  • Ability to follow instructions and use provided cleaning products and tools properly

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
  • 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
  • Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
  • Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
  • Be dependable, punctual and in uniform
  • Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

Job Duties

  • Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
  • Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Use proper personal protective equipment where required
  • Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required
