The Janitorial Cleaner role at ABM is pivotal in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and order in assigned facilities, playing a direct role in enhancing the overall experience for employees, clients, and visitors. This role offers a reliable hourly pay rate between $18.50 and $20.00, depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and alignment with market standards. The cleaning shifts are structured to provide coverage 7 days a week, with assigned shifts from 7am to 3:30pm on weekdays and the availability of days off during the week. The shifts include options such as 8am to 5pm and 6am to 3pm, ensuring flexibility for the workforce.

The Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for routine tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing floors and surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, replenishing supplies to meet hygiene standards, emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning windows and glass surfaces, maintaining cleaning equipment, and reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards. Additionally, the role may require assisting with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects. Physical demands include walking extensively, pushing cleaning carts, occasional heavy lifting up to 40 pounds, and responsibilities that extend to exterior areas such as trash removal and cleaning pools and restrooms. Attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and commitment to quality are integral to successfully fulfilling this role.
