The role of Janitorial Cleaner at ABM is critical to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards across assigned facilities. This position offers an hourly pay rate of $23.00 and is suitable for individuals just entering or returning to the workforce, including veterans and those with limited prior experience. The Janitorial Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality are essential in this role. The position requires the individual to handle routine cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing floors and surfaces, and maintaining restrooms to high hygiene standards. The role also includes emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning windows and glass surfaces, and properly storing cleaning equipment and supplies. Moreover, the Janitorial Cleaner will be expected to report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects.
