This role as a Janitorial Cleaner at ABM offers an excellent opportunity for individuals entering or returning to the workforce, including military veterans and those with limited experience or education. The position involves maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across various assigned facilities, contributing significantly to a safe and orderly environment that enhances the experience for employees, clients, and visitors alike. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with an hourly pay rate ranging from $17.75 to $20.55, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and market alignment. As a Janitorial Cleaner, the selected candidate will be responsible for executing routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces. They will also sanitize restrooms, manage the replenishment of supplies, and ensure hygiene standards meet company expectations. Additional duties include emptying trash and recycling bins in line with company policies, cleaning windows and mirrors, maintaining cleaning equipment, and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly. The role requires adherence to all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation, ensuring a hazard-free workspace.
