This janitorial cleaner role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of assigned facilities. The position is ideal for individuals who are entering or returning to the workforce, including veterans and those with limited experience or education. Working as a janitorial cleaner at ABM, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks that contribute to a safe, clean, and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. This includes routine tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces, as well as more specific responsibilities like sanitizing restrooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards. Additionally, you will handle waste disposal by emptying trash and recycling bins, clean windows and mirrors, and ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.

The role also involves recognizing and reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors, which is critical to maintaining the safety and functionality of the facilities. You may also assist with the setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed.
