This opportunity is for a Janitorial Cleaner position based in Independence, Ohio. The role is hourly paid, with a competitive wage of $13.50 per hour, paid weekly. The shift for this position runs from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering a great opportunity for individuals entering the workforce or returning with limited prior experience. As a Janitorial Cleaner at ABM, you will be responsible for performing a variety of routine cleaning tasks essential to workplace hygiene and safety. Duties include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces, as well as sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies to uphold hygiene standards. Additionally, you will empty trash and recycling bins according to company policies, maintain glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors, and ensure the proper storage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies. Reporting maintenance issues, potential safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors is a key part of the role to maintain a functional and safe environment. You will also play a role in assisting with setups and cleanups for meetings, events, and special projects.
