Within this vast and dynamic organization, ABM is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Janitorial Cleaner to join their team in Austin, Texas. This role is pivotal in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of assigned facilities located at 5505 W Parmer Lane. The Janitorial Cleaner will be responsible for a variety of routine and specialized cleaning duties that ensure a sanitary and orderly environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. With scheduled shifts running Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, this role offers flexibility for both day and night cleaner positions, with a competitive hourly wage of $16.00.

Key responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors and surfaces, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms while ensuring hygiene standards are met, emptying trash and recycling bins, and maintaining the cleanliness of glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors. The cleaner will also be expected to properly maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies, promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors, and assist with the preparation and cleanup of meetings, events, and special projects as needed. The role demands a commitment to quality and safety, requiring familiarity with appropriate cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
