This Janitorial Cleaner position is a vital role within ABM, designed to support the cleanliness, order, and overall upkeep of multiple facilities across assigned accounts. Working throughout four distinct locations—specifically the HFCU Thornydale and HFCU Cortaro facilities—this role operates Monday through Friday from 6 pm to 10 pm. At a competitive hourly wage of $16.00, this role provides an excellent opportunity to join ABM’s frontline team, particularly for those entering or re-entering the workforce with limited prior experience. The Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces to maintain a hygienic and welcoming environment. This work is critical in ensuring that employees, clients, and visitors encounter spaces that are safe, clean, and presentable.

Responsibilities extend beyond routine cleaning to include sanitization of restrooms, replenishment of supplies, waste disposal in compliance with company policies, and the upkeep of cleaning equipment. The position also supports event readiness by assisting with setup and cleanup for meetings or special projects as required. This role demands a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently and efficiently. Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
