This position is for a reliable and experienced Janitorial Cleaner dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and safety within assigned facilities. The role is crucial in sustaining the overall appearance and sanitary conditions of the work environment, thereby enhancing the experience for employees, clients, and visitors alike. This position offers an hourly pay range of $18.50 to $20.00, depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.

The Janitorial Cleaner will work various shifts, including Monday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with some schedules offering 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM shifts. Employees will receive two days off during the week. This role is ideal for individuals who are just entering the workforce or returning with limited experience and education and is well suited for those seeking a role focused on detailed cleaning duties and maintaining facility sanitation standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces to uphold the facility’s cleanliness. The Janitorial Cleaner will also clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, empty trash, recycle bins according to company policies, and clean glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors. Maintaining and properly storing cleaning equipment and supplies is also a priority. The individual will be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly. Assisting with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects is another important aspect of the role. Above all, the Janitorial Cleaner must adhere strictly to all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation. This role requires a good deal of physical activity including walking, pushing cleaning carts, and occasionally lifting objects up to 40 pounds. The job may also require attention to outdoor areas, such as pool cleaning and removing trash from exterior spaces.
