This specific role is for a Temporary Day Porter, scheduled from May 26 to July 31, located at 3800 E River Rd. The shift hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $15.45 per hour. The scheduled hours may change based on business needs, providing a degree of flexibility. This position is well-suited for individuals entering or returning to the workforce who may have limited experience and education, aligning with ABM's inclusivity and support for diverse applicants including veterans and those with military experience. As a Janitorial Cleaner, the role focuses on performing a variety of cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment across assigned facilities. The job responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces. Maintaining hygiene standards through cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and replenishing supplies is essential. The role also involves emptying trash and recycling bins in compliance with company policies, cleaning windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces, and properly maintaining and storing cleaning equipment and supplies. Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor ensures the facility remains safe and well-maintained. Additionally, the position requires assistance with setting up and cleaning up after meetings, events, or special projects as necessary. Adherence to all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation is mandatory to protect both the employee and the facility.

Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in janitorial custodial or general cleaning roles is a plus
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
