The Janitorial Cleaner role at ABM is a vital part of maintaining the overall cleanliness, safety, and hygiene of the assigned facilities. As a Janitorial Cleaner, you will perform routine and essential cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces to ensure a clean and orderly work environment. The role also involves restroom sanitation, replenishment of hygiene supplies, trash and recycling maintenance, window and glass surface cleaning, and proper handling and storage of cleaning equipment. Additionally, you will be expected to assist in setup and cleanup for meetings and special events, report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly, and adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company procedures related to sanitation. Job Duties

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and waste in accordance with company policies
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor
  • Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation
