The Day Porter position at ABM is vital for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of assigned facilities during the day shift. This role involves performing a broad range of cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and floor polishing to ensure the environment remains orderly and hygienic. The Day Porter will also be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, restocking supplies, emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning glass surfaces like windows and mirrors, and properly maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment. The role also includes reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors, as well as assisting in the setup and cleanup for meetings, events, or special projects, contributing to the seamless operation of facility services.

The schedule for this role is Sunday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, offering a paid rate of $18.75 per hour. This pay rate may vary based on the applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and how their qualifications align with current market data.
