The Janitor/Busser position at Twin Peaks is a foundational role critical to upholding the restaurant’s standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency. As a Janitor/Busser, you will be tasked with ensuring all areas of the restaurant, including dining rooms, kitchen stations, equipment, and restrooms, are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized following established procedures. This role requires a driven individual who takes pride in their work, has attention to detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to adhere strictly to uniform requirements and sanitation protocols to maintain the restaurant’s image as a clean and safe destination for customers. Additionally, you will assist with opening and closing responsibilities that include sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, and other janitorial duties as assigned.

This role requires teamwork, discipline, and the ability to meet specific physical demands such as standing and walking for extended periods, reaching and handling cleaning tools and materials, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds. Candidate training includes orientation and ongoing education on policies, sanitation standards, and safety that must be completed before independently working shifts. Success in this role ensures that Twin Peaks continues to provide an inviting environment for both customers and staff, contributing to the brand’s reputation for excellence and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a janitor busser
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks training
  • Must attend and successfully complete the training program prior to working a shift without supervision
  • Must successfully attend and complete any and all other required training in compliance with local and state regulations, such as food and/or alcohol service certifications

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a janitor busser
  • Ability to communicate in English

  • Assisting with opening and closing duties of the restaurant included, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, etc.
