This role is for a Janitor based in Round Rock, TX, offering an hourly pay rate of $15.00. The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and disinfected workplace, ensuring all areas within a building are hygienic and well-presented. This role involves cleaning floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, furniture, and various fixtures, as well as taking care of waste disposal and the replenishment of cleaning supplies. The position requires a proactive individual who can follow safety procedures and work diligently both independently and as part of a team. The Janitor will also be responsible for reporting unsafe conditions, documenting cleaning activities, and ensuring all workspaces meet cleanliness standards.

Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls, and general tasks
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, locker rooms, and other work areas
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture free of dust as well as lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as required
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
