The role of Janitor at CCS Facility Services is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment. This position is full-time, scheduled for five days a week - Monday through Friday - from 7:00 PM to 3:30 AM, based in Los Angeles, California. Key responsibilities include cleaning a wide range of surfaces and areas such as floors, carpets, windows, walls, furniture, restrooms, and common touchpoints like desks and door handles. The janitor also plays a crucial role in safety by following company protocols, reporting unsafe conditions, and ensuring that all cleaning tasks are performed with proper care and compliance with health standards.

The janitor is expected to perform general cleaning duties including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting furniture and fixtures, maintaining trash and recycling disposal, and restocking supplies. Additionally, this role involves some physical tasks such as lifting objects of up to 50 pounds and sometimes clearing snow or debris from outdoor areas if applicable. The responsibility to maintain an accurate cleaning chart and notify supervisors of any maintenance needs is critical for ensuring the facility’s cleanliness and operational efficiency.
