We are currently seeking to hire a Full-Time Day Porter (Janitor) to join our dynamic team. This important role is Monday through Friday with a competitive starting wage of $13 per hour and the benefit of weekly pay. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within one or multiple client buildings. The janitorial tasks vary based on client specifications, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic. Your role is pivotal in maintaining pristine commercial environments, ensuring floors, restrooms, meeting rooms, entrance areas, and other spaces are clean, safe, and inviting.

The Day Porter duties include routine floor care such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming, as well as handling chemical cleaners and power equipment safely to prevent damage. Additionally, responsibilities involve restroom maintenance, trash disposal, window and glass cleaning, carpet spot cleaning, and replenishing sanitary supplies. The job occasionally requires the operation of heavy cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers. Attention to detail and a commitment to following schedules and instructions are essential for success in this role.
