The Janitor role at Diversified Maintenance is a critical position responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of designated commercial client sites. This position is offered on a part-time basis, primarily during evening hours, offering $15 per hour with weekly pay. As a Janitor, you will perform all-purpose cleaning duties ensuring that all assigned areas within buildings or across multiple client locations are kept in pristine condition. The responsibilities span maintaining floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, following correctly labeled chemical cleaner procedures to prevent damage, and cleaning restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas. The role requires attention to detail, flexibility in adapting to assigned tasks, and occasional use of specialized heavy cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers and carpet extractors. The Janitor also replenishes paper products and sanitary supplies and must adhere strictly to housekeeping schedules. Job Qualifications

- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
- Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
- Empty trash cans for proper disposal, use compactor for certain materials
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
- Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
- Follow housekeeping schedule
- Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
- Other duties as assigned
