The Heritage at Brentwood is currently seeking full-time Janitors who are hospitality-focused and passionate about contributing to a clean, safe, and friendly living environment for seniors. This position offers a competitive pay rate of $16 per hour and is structured as a full-time role with shifts scheduled from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, five days a week including every other weekend. Janitors at The Heritage at Brentwood are responsible for various cleaning and maintenance tasks that ensure the community remains a welcoming and hygienic place for residents and visitors alike. These tasks range from daily floor care and cleaning of common areas such as restrooms, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures, to trash pickup and disposal. Additional responsibilities include setting up auditoriums and meeting rooms for special events, occasional cleaning of residential homes within the community, and general housekeeping tasks such as laundry. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the well-being of the senior residents. Job Qualifications
- Prior janitorial, custodial and/or general housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
Job Duties
- Completes daily floor care assignments and other projects
- Cleaning common areas, including restrooms, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures
- Trash pickup and disposal
- Setting up auditorium and meeting rooms for special events
- Cleaning residential homes as needed
- May perform laundry and other housekeeping duties as needed
