Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dealership parts counter experience heavily preferred
- Ability to work full-time
- Strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency with computer and inventory management systems
- Effective communication skills

Job Duties
- Assist customers in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
- Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials
- Answer phone calls, provide price quotes and other information
- Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing
- Pull and fill orders from stock
- Notify parts manager of out-of-stock parts or materials needing immediate attention
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders if necessary
- Notify all parties when special ordered parts are received
- Pull orders for delivery to body shop ensuring all parts are tagged appropriately
- Follow up on back-ordered parts and replenish inventory daily
- Verify will-call and back-order files weekly and process returns or restocking
- Assist outside sales representatives with orders
- Ensure all internal parts requests are billed on service repair orders
- Receive payments or obtain credit authorization
- Ensure all charge sales are signed by customers and provide invoice copies
