The role of Restaurant Manager at Jack in the Box involves managing overall restaurant operations while ensuring the execution of the Service Profit Chain and the brand promise. Reporting directly to a District Manager, the incumbent will be accountable for recruiting, training, and developing restaurant employees, maintaining excellent guest service standards, managing financial performance, and ensuring compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements. The Restaurant Manager fosters an employee-friendly environment that is fun, clean, and safe while motivating team members towards high performance and growth. This position is exempt and requires discretion in decision-making related to daily management activities. Responsibilities also include analyzing operational and financial data, updating strategies to improve sales and profitability, and handling guest concerns promptly to ensure positive resolution. The successful candidate will also utilize various tools and systems within Jack in the Box to support continuous improvement and maintain brand image. Furthermore, the Restaurant Manager adheres to high ethical standards, supports change initiatives, performs coaching and development of the team, and serves as a role model for guest service excellence. The position requires standing and walking for the majority of the shift and involves lifting and carrying up to 65 pounds. A valid driver’s license and personal transportation are required as the role includes duties such as bank deposits and traveling to other business locations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent required
- minimum 1 year experience as associate manager or 2 years as first assistant manager for internal promotion
- minimum 3 years experience managing a service concept with full profit and loss responsibility for external candidates
- must be at least 18 years old
- completion of Restaurant Manager training
- ServSafe certification
- ability to speak, read, and write English effectively
- excellent interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

- must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties
