Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of restaurant seating and reservation management systems preferred
Customer service experience in hospitality or related fields
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Basic math and cashiering skills

Job Duties

Inspect all menus to ensure their condition and cleanliness
Seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner and ensure any special needs have been taken care of
Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
Maintain all workspaces and materials at a high level of cleanliness
Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting
Assign servers to sections, confirm, and manage reservations, and assign guests to tables while communicating with servers and managers
Be knowledgeable of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation
Assist customers with questions regarding activities within the casino for that day
Maintain a clean work area, professional appearance and present positive customer service techniques
Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
Answer phone inquiries and take down messages for customers as necessary
Ensure proper seating rotation
Continuously monitor dining room to make sure it is properly maintained, and floor is free of debris
