  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of restaurant seating and reservation management systems preferred
  • Customer service experience in hospitality or related fields
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Basic math and cashiering skills

Job Duties

  • Inspect all menus to ensure their condition and cleanliness
  • Seat guests in a courteous and friendly manner and ensure any special needs have been taken care of
  • Manage restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
  • Maintain all workspaces and materials at a high level of cleanliness
  • Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and any other item that is part of the standard place setting
  • Assign servers to sections, confirm, and manage reservations, and assign guests to tables while communicating with servers and managers
  • Be knowledgeable of all menu items, including ingredients and preparation
  • Assist customers with questions regarding activities within the casino for that day
  • Maintain a clean work area, professional appearance and present positive customer service techniques
  • Perform all opening, side work, and closing duties
  • Answer phone inquiries and take down messages for customers as necessary
  • Ensure proper seating rotation
  • Continuously monitor dining room to make sure it is properly maintained, and floor is free of debris
