Job Description
We are a well established and fast growing Italian wine and spirits importer with more than 30 years of experience in importing Italian wines and 10 years in Italian spirits. Headquartered in California, our company has grown to become a national leader in offering a diverse and premium portfolio of Italian wines and spirits. Recently, we expanded our presence by opening a new branch in New York, focusing on Brooklyn, with a stellar selection of 32 top-tier producers representing nearly every notable wine and spirit region across Italy.

The role we are offering is a sales position based in Brooklyn. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling our portfolio of quality-driven Italian wines and spirits. While prior sales experience is considered a plus, it is not mandatory as we provide thorough training for the right enthusiastic and motivated candidate. A critical part of the role involves prospecting and developing new customers within the Brooklyn area, leveraging strong community connections and local business relations.
Ideal candidates will have an extensive background in tasting and knowledge of Italian wines and spirits, ideally complemented by bartending experience, although this is also not a requirement. We value candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated, and eager to continue expanding their education of wine and spirits on the job and through specialized trips to Italy to visit our producers annually. This unique opportunity allows for hands-on learning and deeper immersion into the culture behind the products.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary, including an annual salary review and bonus potential based on performance. We also provide an expense stipend to support the role and a comprehensive benefits package featuring paid holidays, vacation time, health insurance, and a 401k plan. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds for product handling and transportation purposes. While having a valid New York driver's license, a clean driving record, and personal vehicle would be advantageous, they are not strict requirements.
