Job Description

The hiring organization is a prominent healthcare management company operating within the Managed Services Organization (MSO) and Independent Physician Association (IPA) frameworks. This company specializes in delivering scalable technology solutions and integrated healthcare management services that support managed care, medical group operations, and health plan interoperability. With a solid focus on improving healthcare outcomes through technology, they work closely with health plans, provider networks, and operational units such as finance, claims, and quality management to foster efficient and compliant health service delivery. The role of IT Systems & API Integration Manager is pivotal within this organization’s technology landscape. Responsible for overseeing the entirety of the healthcare technology infrastructure, this position manages system integrations and interoperability across MSO and IPA operations. The manager will lead the development and maintenance of APIs and healthcare data exchange protocols involving internal applications, health plans, EMRs, clearinghouses, and external vendors. This role demands a thorough understanding of healthcare EDI transactions, including claims, remittance, eligibility, authorizations, and enrollment files, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.

By partnering closely with departments such as operations, claims, contracting, credentialing, and quality assurance, this manager ensures integration workflows enhance efficiency and data integrity while maintaining HIPAA compliance and security protocols. The position also involves troubleshooting and resolving system issues, managing upgrades and testing, developing reporting dashboards through SQL and other tools, and documenting technical and operational processes.

With a full-time, on-site role based in Alhambra, California, this position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $125,000 depending on experience, alongside comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and career growth opportunities. The role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, project coordination ability, and familiarity with healthcare IT standards. The ideal candidate will be experienced in healthcare technology solutions, particularly within managed care settings, and proficient in system integrations and API management. This opportunity is ideal for driven IT professionals passionate about enhancing healthcare operations through technology innovation and robust system interoperability.
