Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information technology or equivalent experience
  • strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems
  • knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environment
  • general knowledge of Microsoft Exchange (On-Premise and Online)
  • general knowledge of Hypervisor technology (Hyper-V and VMware)
  • understanding of networking including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • understanding of Microsoft Server technologies including Active Directory, File/Folder Permissions, Print Management, Remote Desktop
  • experience with cloud-based technology and applications
  • strong documentation skills
  • experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • ability to work in a fast-growing team
  • excellent customer service

Job Duties

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for Particle Measuring Systems, software applications, and related hardware
  • troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively, escalating complex problems as needed
  • install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems
  • provide remote and on-site technical support to customers as required
  • document and track customer issues and resolutions
  • maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
  • participate in the development and improvement of IT support processes and procedures
  • manage AD users and groups, permissions, and email systems
  • support Microsoft 365/Azure environment with emphasis on Outlook, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint applications
  • continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety
