Stefanini is currently seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team in Wendell, NC, in an onsite capacity. This role is critical to the organization’s ability to maintain and enhance its complex IT infrastructure that supports business operations spanning multiple sites. The IT Infrastructure Specialist will play a pivotal role in coordinating, governing, and advancing infrastructure services, particularly focusing on WAN and LAN networks, server infrastructure, factory and operational technology (OT) connectivity, cybersecurity compliance, and major incident management.

The specialist acts as a vital liaison among the business units, internal IT teams, and external managed service providers to ensure infrastructure solutions are not only reliable and scalable but also secure and aligned with both global standards and localized requirements. They will be responsible for facilitating infrastructure demands, managing local networks, coordinating with service providers, validating technical solutions, and supporting the resolution of critical IT issues. This position requires an individual capable of supporting ongoing business growth, factory operations, and potential new site expansions by ensuring the IT landscape is robust and adaptable.

Key responsibilities include owning WAN-related infrastructure requests, leading operational engagements with WAN providers, performing bandwidth and capacity planning, managing LAN-related deployments, ensuring proper documentation and governance, supporting infrastructure readiness for business changes, aligning factory and enterprise IT environments, reviewing infrastructure designs for cybersecurity and reliability, and driving continuous improvements in infrastructure process governance. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with cybersecurity teams to manage infrastructure risks and acting as an escalation point during major incidents to facilitate swift issue resolution.

Candidates applying for this role should bring a strong background in IT infrastructure within complex, multi-site enterprise environments, vendor management experience, and familiarity with factory or manufacturing operational requirements. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of ITIL processes, global infrastructure governance, OT/IT integration, server management, and cloud hosting models.
