The ISR/Air Current Operations Planner position supports the SCOPES Program at United States Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) within the Joint Task Force - Western Hemisphere (JTF-WHEM). This role is integral in planning, coordinating, and synchronizing ISR and air operations across the theater to support operational objectives and intelligence priorities. The planner works closely within the Joint Reconnaissance Center (JRC) to integrate ISR capabilities with joint military operations, ensuring that commanders have timely and accurate intelligence for effective decision-making. The position requires managing ISR asset tasking throughout the Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (TCPED) cycle, coordinating with various joint, coalition, interagency, and national intelligence partners to maintain unity of effort across the operational environment.

This full-time, regular employment opportunity requires an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance to start, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work. The position demands up to 25% local travel to support operational needs. The ISR/Air Current Operations Planner will contribute to the development of collection strategies and ensure that ISR resources are effectively employed to meet commander priorities for current operations, contingency planning, and multi-domain mission execution. The planner will also prepare and deliver operational briefings and decision support products for senior leadership during routine operations, exercises, and contingency events.
