Job Description

Fisher Investments is a renowned investment advisory firm dedicated to bettering the investment universe by delivering exceptional financial services and solutions to clients worldwide. With a commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive work environment, Fisher Investments is recognized for its continuous learning and development framework tailored to each employee's career growth. The firm holds a Great Place to Work Certification, reflecting its dedication to fostering a culture that values people as its most important asset. Fisher Investments offers comprehensive benefits, competitive compensation packages, and career advancement opportunities, making it an attractive employer for professionals seeking longevity and growth in the financial services industry.

The Investment Counselor - Wealthbuilder role at Fisher Investments is an exciting entry-level position designed to prepare motivated candidates for a lifelong career in financial services, particularly within wealth management and investment advisory. This opportunity offers an elevated education in finance and capital markets through Fisher Investments' specialized training programs, equipping candidates with essential knowledge and skills that align with the firm's distinctive approach to investment management. Starting with obtaining the Series 65 license through robust training and support, candidates will receive hands-on preparation from a dedicated training team. Beyond licensing, continuous mentorship is provided to deepen understanding of technological platforms, client servicing techniques, and the firm's policies.

This role is part of the Private Client Group and serves as a stepping stone to becoming a licensed service professional managing high-net-worth clients. Early career progress involves working collaboratively within teams to serve clients, acting as the liaison between the Investment Policy Committee (IPC) and U.S. clients, and connecting regularly with clients to review and optimize their asset allocations. As candidates achieve significant milestones within their first two years, they will be presented with opportunities to take on expanded responsibilities, potentially advancing to the Premier Wealth Management team to manage their own roster of clients.

Candidates in this role will engage in building strong, trusting relationships with clients by educating them about the firm’s top-down portfolio strategy, key investments, and important market developments. Effective client communication and operational support are fundamental elements of daily responsibilities, requiring a client-focused and consultative approach. This position offers a base salary range from $80,000 to $105,000 annually for roles based in Washington State, with starting salaries dependent on experience, coupled with eligibility for discretionary bonuses tied to performance. Overall, the Investment Counselor - Wealthbuilder role at Fisher Investments is a comprehensive and rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about guiding others toward long-term financial success and eager to grow within a premier investment firm.
