The Inventory Control Specialist role at ABM is a pivotal position responsible for maintaining accurate inventory procedures and controls across various job sites and facilities. This role is ideal for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce, as prior experience and formal education are not required; on-the-job training is provided. The Specialist's primary responsibility is to create and implement inventory processes, perform physical inventory counts, and ensure compliance with company shipping, receiving, and inventory protocols.

This is a floater position requiring the flexibility to work both day and night shifts and to travel to multiple job sites regularly. The Inventory Control Specialist will teach and support field teams regarding inventory procedures, audit compliance at job sites and yards, assist with inventory reports, and collaborate with purchasing teams to determine cost-effective options for managing stock. Additional responsibilities include reconciling physical stock against computerized reports, coordinating asset reservations, and serving as a Subject Matter Expert on asset tracking and lost inventory.
