Job Description
Longmont United Hospital is a well-established healthcare facility located in Longmont, Colorado. This hospital is committed to providing comprehensive patient care by focusing on the whole individual - body, mind, and spirit - in the healing process. The organization values its employees by fostering a supportive environment, promoting self-care, and encouraging professional development opportunities through cross-training and continuing education. Longmont itself offers an excellent quality of life with its abundant parks, golf courses, and proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park, making it an attractive location for professionals seeking both career growth and a balanced lifestyle.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to join our medical imaging department. This role is vital to delivering high-quality patient care through performing specialized cardiovascular procedures and imaging exams. The position involves collaboration with physicians to conduct diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operations, and electrophysiology studies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency and leadership qualities, serving as a clinical resource to other technologists and ensuring adherence to safe radiation practices and current standards of clinical care.
This opportunity offers a competitive pay range between $34.40 and $57.95 per hour, plus a $4.75 hourly differential for interventional radiology and catheterization lab work upon hire. Qualified candidates may also be eligible for a generous $7,500 sign-on bonus for full-time or part-time positions (PRN positions excluded), as well as up to $8,000 in relocation assistance depending on location. The schedule includes weekday shifts from 7 am to 4:30 pm with additional on-call requirements, providing a balanced and predictable work routine.
At Longmont United Hospital, you will be part of a team that values commitment to patient care and personal growth. You will have access to resources and leadership that support your success and encourage you to thrive in your career. If you bring compassion, technical expertise, and a dedication to making a difference in patients' lives, this role offers an excellent platform for your professional journey in a vibrant community setting.
