Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or 5+ years of aerospace/defense purchasing experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role with direct customer interaction
  • aerospace chemicals, hardware, and MRO purchasing experience strongly preferred
  • experience working with international customers and suppliers preferred
  • strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Obtain vendor quotes to support customer RFQs and bid proposals
  • source, develop, and manage domestic and international suppliers
  • create, manage, and update purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery
  • communicate order status, confirmations, and updates to customers
  • resolve non-conformance issues and assist with invoice discrepancies
  • support freight activities, including quotes, bookings, and shipment tracking
  • identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with Supply Chain and Sales teams
