Job Description
The Internal Medicine Physician Concierge Practice Owner Succession opportunity in Baltimore, MD, presents an exceptional career prospect for board-certified or board-eligible Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine physicians. This rare opening allows a medical professional to join a well-established, highly profitable private concierge practice located in the picturesque Quarry Lake area of Baltimore County. This practice emphasizes an upscale suburban lifestyle, complete with lakeside walking paths, local dining, and shopping, while also providing easy access to downtown Baltimore's renowned medical and academic communities. The new physician will initially work alongside the current practice owner, Dr. Joel D. Meshulam, during a seamless transition period before assuming full ownership of the business.
This concierge practice focuses exclusively on adult and geriatric medicine, prioritizing prevention, wellness, and comprehensive chronic disease management. The patient care model is designed for high efficiency with an integrated on-site electronic health record (EHR) system and support from the advanced operational platform of Privia Health. As a member of Privia Medical Group, which comprises more than 5,500 providers across 1,300+ locations, the practice benefits from a robust network aimed at quality-driven healthcare delivery through accountable care organizations and population health management programs. Physicians in this network enjoy the advantages of aligned reimbursements based on quality and outcomes.
The practice maintains a smaller, highly engaged patient panel, facilitating exceptional continuity of care. Patients enjoy personalized accessibility with 24/7 phone and text communication, reflecting the concierge model's emphasis on personalized, attentive care. The compensation model is highly competitive and anchored in predictable annual recurring membership revenue while granting physicians professional independence. This balance of financial security and autonomy makes the role particularly attractive for physicians seeking to establish long-term patient relationships and deliver high-quality care in a supportive, efficient environment.
The work schedule offers a balanced, predictable outpatient routine from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no overnight or weekend call demands. Appointment times are extended to allow for thorough patient interactions, with 30 to 45 minutes typical for standard visits and up to 90 minutes for annual physicals. The practice abides strictly by HIPAA regulations, ensuring patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Baltimore's Quarry Lake community provides an enriching environment for both professional and personal life. Its scenic, peaceful setting is perfect for physicians who appreciate nature and a suburban lifestyle while still maintaining close proximity to the dynamic cultural, educational, and healthcare institutions in Baltimore. This position is not only a job but a career investment with the opportunity for full ownership succession in a concierge practice respected for its stability, quality, and innovation.
