Job Description
Providence Medical Group's Womens Health service is a vital part of Providence Women and Children's Services, a comprehensive healthcare network dedicated to providing integrated care to women and children across multiple states. Known for its commitment to compassionate care, the organization boasts a wide range of programs that support patients through every phase of life. Providence has established itself as a leader in children's health, with more babies born at its hospitals than at any other health system in Oregon. The network collaborates closely with specialty programs such as the Providence Cancer Institute and Providence Heart Institute, ensuring patients receive complete, coordinated care that covers all their healthcare needs. This commitment to holistic wellness is mirrored in the supportive environment for healthcare providers and staff alike.
Providence is a nationally recognized healthcare organization servicing seven states, and it operates with an unwavering mission to deliver quality healthcare, especially prioritizing the needs of the poor and vulnerable populations. With over 122,000 caregivers, including 34,000 physicians, Providence maintains a presence in 51 hospitals and more than 1,000 clinics, offering a broad spectrum of health and social services. The organization's culture emphasizes collaboration, respect, and a family-like atmosphere united by the shared goal of exceptional patient care.
The Certified Nurse Midwife position within the Womens Health service at Providence Medical Group provides a unique opportunity for healthcare professionals passionate about women's health and midwifery. This role is offered on a part-time basis at 0.8 FTE, catering to professionals seeking work-life balance without compromising their ability to deliver high-quality care. Situated in Everett, Washington, a welcoming community nestled between Mt. Baker and Mr. Rainier, the location offers a desirable lifestyle with access to scenic views of Puget Sound and a range of recreational activities including hiking, art galleries, theaters, and local museums. Everett’s rich industrial background combined with its modern-tech economy creates a dynamic and supportive community for working professionals.
As a member of the midwifery program, the Certified Nurse Midwife will work alongside a large number of support staff and benefit from robust collaboration with the Obstetrics and Gynecology group. This integrated approach fosters efficiency, professional growth, and high standards of patient care. Candidates with at least one year of experience in midwifery are encouraged to apply, as the position demands a solid foundation of clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Compensation for this position ranges from $146,214 to $194,036 per year. This figure may include productivity incentives, quality or service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives specific to the role. Additional benefits may include Continuing Medical Education (CME) opportunities designed to support ongoing professional development. The position is classified as part-time but includes benefits, making it an attractive option for experienced Certified Nurse Midwives seeking meaningful work in a collaborative and well-supported health care environment.
