The Internal Maintenance Porter role at Graton Resort & Casino is critical to maintaining the pristine condition of both casino and public areas throughout the property. This position is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and upkeep are performed to the highest standards consistent with the resort's luxury brand. The Internal Maintenance Porter works meticulously to maintain hygiene and presentation in guest and team member spaces, including restrooms, common areas, and gaming floors. Responsibilities include cleaning and polishing slot machines and gaming tables, managing biohazard spills safely, and using specialized equipment to clean floors and fixtures. Additionally, this role involves removing trash, managing broken glass, and resetting furniture and equipment according to approved layouts. Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS protocols is essential to handle chemicals and electrical equipment safely.

This position requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to reporting maintenance issues such as damaged surfaces or worn equipment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cleaning or maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and company protocols
  • Physical capability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and moving furniture
  • Familiarity with OSHA and MSDS guidelines
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to handle biohazard clean-up safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance roles is advantageous
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling, and safety protocols
  • Ability to operate cleaning machinery and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Duties

  • Redefine hospitality by supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino values
  • Perform cleaning responsibilities in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of all guest and team member common areas and restrooms
  • Clean and polish slot machines and gaming tables
  • Manage biohazard spills and contaminated areas safely per department protocols
  • Remove trash and broken glass from all public areas
  • Clean walls, ceilings, floors, and vents as required
  • Operate cleaning tools and equipment to clean floors, fixtures, surfaces, and carpets
  • Move and reset furniture and equipment following approved layouts
  • Collect and empty trash receptacles throughout the property
  • Be familiar with OSHA and MSDS requirements related to chemicals and electrical equipment
  • Report damaged or worn property to management promptly
  • Adapt to changing duties as assigned by management to meet business needs
