The Internal Maintenance Porter role at Graton Resort & Casino is a vital position responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of casino and public areas throughout the resort. This role supports the resort's luxury standards by maintaining guest and team member common spaces to the highest level of cleanliness. The position requires experience in hospitality or custodial services, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adhere to strict company policies and procedures. The Internal Maintenance Porter not only contributes to the aesthetic appeal of the resort but also plays a critical role in the overall safety and comfort of guests and team members alike. This full-time position demands physical stamina to perform various cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and occasionally handle biohazard spills following departmental protocols. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
- Ability to walk for duration of shift
- Ability to sit rarely and only as needed to complete an assigned task
- Ability to bend intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
- Ability to twist intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
- Ability to squat or kneel intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
- Ability to climb stairs and walk intermittently up to 50 percent of shift
- Ability to tolerate use of chemicals, cleansers, and solvents for the duration of shift
- Ability to bend and stoop intermittently for duration of shift
- Ability to reach up to a height of 6 feet intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
- Must have manual dexterity to operate job related equipment for duration of shift
- Ability to hear and communicate via telephone and radio for duration of shift
- Ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
- Ability to reach above the shoulders and other hand arm use intermittently up to 88 percent of shift
Job Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form
- Ability to read, write and speak in English
- Interact with fellow team members and guests in a friendly, positive, and courteous manner
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all guest and team member common areas throughout property
- Maintain cleanliness of all guest and team member restrooms
- Clean and polish all slot machines and gaming tables
- Clean up biohazard spills and any contaminated areas per department policies and protocols
- Pick up and remove trash and broken glass from all guest and team member common areas throughout the property
