The housekeeping role at Fontainebleau Miami Beach is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and order that distinguish this luxury resort. This position focuses on cleaning and maintaining all designated areas within the resort, ensuring every surface and item meets the hotel's exacting cleanliness requirements. The role involves monitoring sanitation and organization in guest and employee areas such as hallways, bathrooms, public spaces, pool decks, and front entrances. The housekeeper will use supplied tools and materials to keep the environment pristine, including wiping counters and shelves, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors, and ensuring that all amenities, including vending machines and bathroom supplies, are well stocked. This individual will also be responsible for addressing maintenance issues by promptly reporting damages or repairs to supervisory staff to uphold the impeccable resort environment.

Job Duties
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- stock cleaning carts with designated supplies and equipment
- wipe shelves/counters and sweep, vacuum, and mop floor and stairwell
- transport any food and beverage trays/items in public areas to service areas
- clean public and employee bathroom mirrors, vanities, sinks, toilets/urinals, shower walls, curtains, and floors
- stock vending machines in public and employee bathrooms
- sweep front entrance and pool deck daily
- report damages or maintenance problems to the supervisor
- contact status board directly for urgent repairs
- perform other related duties as assigned
