The Internal Maintenance Porter role at Graton Resort & Casino is critical in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the casino and all public areas. This is a vital position that supports the resort’s luxury standards by ensuring that guest and team member spaces are immaculate and hygienic. Internal Maintenance Porters are responsible for cleaning and polishing gaming equipment, restrooms, and common areas, addressing biohazard spills, and managing waste removal throughout the property. The position requires adherence to company policies, safety standards including OSHA and MSDS guidelines, and a proactive approach to reporting maintenance issues.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of OSHA and MSDS safety requirements
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and cleaning equipment
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (MSDS)
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies, and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of all guest and team member common areas throughout property
- Maintain cleanliness of all guest and team member restrooms
- Clean and polish all slot machines and gaming tables
- Clean up biohazard spills and any contaminated areas per department policies and protocols
- Pick up and remove trash and broken glass from all guest and team member common areas throughout the property
- Clean walls, ceilings, floors, and vents as required and per department policies and protocols
- Operate tools and equipment as trained to clean floors, fixtures, surfaces, and carpets throughout property
- Move, rearrange, or relocate furniture/equipment as needed to thoroughly clean all areas
- Reset furniture/equipment to company approved layout after completing cleaning protocols
- Collect and empty trash receptacles from all guest and team member common areas throughout property
- Be familiar with OSHA and MSDS requirements regarding chemical and electrical equipment used in the department
- Report to management any damaged or worn property identified while cleaning including surfaces, floors, carpets, fixtures, furniture, tools, and equipment
