The Interior Patrol Security Officer position at Securitas Security Services is a full-time opportunity available in Hillsboro, OR, offering an hourly wage of $22.00. As an Interior Patrol Security Officer, candidates will undergo elite training in safety and security practices, equipping them with the skills necessary to manage conflict resolution and perform de-escalation techniques effectively in diverse situations. Officers will conduct access control at designated entry and exit points, monitor premises through patrols both inside and outside client locations, which may involve exposure to different weather conditions and terrain types. Frequent interaction with client employees and guests is a critical component of the role, requiring professionalism and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include identifying and reporting safety hazards, suspicious activities, and other potential security threats promptly. Detailed written reporting is a key part of maintaining accountability and ensuring that the security team and management are informed of all incidents and observations. Working collaboratively with team members to meet site and organizational objectives daily underscores the importance of teamwork in this role. Officers are also expected to carry out specific tasks assigned for their site, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months
- Standard computer or technology skills needed
- Customer service background preferred
- Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus
- Must be able to stand and sit for majority of shift
- Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner
- Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid or effective judgement and use appropriate escalation
- All candidates must be willing to participate in the company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
