Job Description
Confie and its family of companies, including Freeway, Baja, Bluefire, and others, represent one of the largest privately held insurance brokers in the United States. With a remarkable reputation and having been ranked the number one Personal Lines Leader by the Insurance Journal for seven consecutive years, Confie has built a strong presence across the nation. Operating over 800 retail store locations nationwide, the company encourages ambitious individuals to advance their careers and maximize income potential. Confie prides itself on providing exceptional opportunities for growth and professional development within the insurance industry, particularly in nonstandard auto insurance.
This opportunity is for an Insurance Agent position, paying between $12 and $18 per hour, with a sign-on bonus opportunity of up to $1,000. The role emphasizes sales of nonstandard auto insurance to both new and existing customers. The company provides comprehensive paid training, ongoing mentorship, and licensing support to foster success. The role is ideal for goal-driven, motivated individuals eager to grow in a robust sales environment without the challenges of cold calling, as an abundance of inbound leads and walk-in traffic supports revenue generation.
The Insurance Agent is responsible for achieving or exceeding sales production goals through soliciting new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients. The position requires a high level of accountability, including accurate currency transaction handling and timely deposits. Agents are expected to quickly connect with customers, build and utilize client relationships effectively, and advise on insurance products tailored to their needs. Confie offers a recognition-driven culture that rewards performance, enhancing motivation and career growth.
The company is committed to employee well-being and offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401K retirement plan with company-matched contributions. Additionally, employees benefit from fitness discounts, an employee assistance program offering confidential support for personal and professional challenges, mental health benefits including therapy and psychiatric sessions, and additional insurance options like disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, accident, and even pet insurance. These comprehensive perks are designed to support both the professional and personal lives of employees.
At Confie, the perfect candidate is someone with a high school diploma or GED, preferably holding a Property and Casualty or Personal Lines license, though this is not mandatory. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also preferred. Essential skills include excellent follow-up, multi-tasking, strong communication abilities, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with customers. Prior sales or customer service experience adds value, but the company emphasizes ambition and motivation as key drivers for success. Equal opportunity is a foundational principle at Confie, fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. The company also leverages technology, including artificial intelligence, in recruitment and employment decision processes to improve efficiency and fairness.
In summary, this role offers an exciting pathway into the insurance sales industry with a supportive company recognized for leadership and excellence. Interested candidates are encouraged to pursue this position to leverage their sales talents, benefit from ongoing training, and enjoy rewarding compensation and benefits in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
