Currently, The Goley Companies are seeking an Insulation Technician to join the growing team at Premier Insulation of Kentucky, located in Lawrenceburg, KY. This role involves installing insulation in both residential and commercial buildings, including attics, walls, basements, and ceilings. The technician will collaborate extensively with project managers, contractors, and construction teams to ensure the proper placement of insulation and compliance with specifications. Quality assurance is a significant aspect of the role, requiring thorough inspections of completed work to maintain adherence to building codes and project standards. The work environment demands the maintenance of clean and organized job sites while strictly following safety protocols.

The position involves working in various physical conditions, including all weather types and at heights such as attics, ladders, scaffolding, and commercial ceilings. The technician must also be comfortable entering tight or confined spaces like crawl spaces and mechanical rooms. Physical strength is essential, as lifting and carrying insulation materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds is required.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in construction, remodeling, or insulation installation, along with a proven ability to work safely in varied physical conditions, especially at heights and confined areas. A strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are crucial attributes. Additionally, the technician must hold a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record.

Experience with blown-in, batt, or spray foam insulation is preferred, along with familiarity with residential and commercial construction practices.
