In the role of Instructional Aide or Para Educator, you will be an essential part of the support team for students with special needs, specifically those with autism and behavioral challenges. The Para Educator will work closely alongside classroom teachers to help implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring that students receive the tailored assistance they need. Responsibilities include providing one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques to encourage self-regulation, social-emotional development, and active engagement. The position is offered on a full-time basis for the 2026-2027 academic year with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $20 to $23, paid on a weekly schedule. Working hours are Monday through Friday, typically from 7:30 am to 3:00 or 4:30 pm, without requiring weekend availability.
