Job Requirements

Previous institutional cooking experience
Ability to prepare meals using standard cooking techniques and appropriate commercial kitchen equipment
No criminal history
A valid Tennessee Driver's License
Ability to work Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts

Job Duties

Prepare nutritional meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner using standard cooking techniques
Operate appropriate commercial kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and food preparation areas
Manage food inventory and storage to ensure freshness and prevent waste
Collaborate with the dietary team to meet the specific dietary requirements of clients
Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
Support the overall mission of Midway Rehabilitation Center through dedicated food service
