Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21 years or older to deliver alcohol)
- eligible to work in the United States
- consistent access to a reliable vehicle
- possession of a recent smartphone capable of running the Instacart Shopper app
- ability to lift and carry groceries
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in retail or customer service is a plus
- ability to use a smartphone and mobile app proficiently
- strong time management and organizational skills
- good communication and interpersonal abilities
- familiarity with local grocery stores and neighborhoods is beneficial
Job Duties
- Receive and accept orders through the Shopper app
- shop for grocery and household items accurately from local stores
- deliver orders to customers' doorsteps in a timely manner
- maintain excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally
- manage shopping and delivery schedules independently
- handle transactions including payments and collecting tips
- adhere to health and safety protocols while handling food and products
